32 Weeks

28-31 Weeks

I've started my countdown.....

7 weeks 6 days to go. That means only 55 more days! On one hand it seems like it is still a long ways away; on the other, I know it's going to be here in no time! I'm so ready to meet our little boy, but I am no where near prepared! I have so much to do! The nursery is painted, now we just need some furniture! And bedding, and curtains, and clothes, and pretty much everything else! We do have a car seat, thanks to my parents, so at least we can bring him home from the hospital :) Aaron's family does custom woodwork, so his dad is building our crib. I can't wait to see how it turns out. I know it will be gorgeous because I've seen a lot of the work that they do. My mom is refinishing and recovering a glider for us, and I am going to attempt to sew all of the crib bedding. Luckily I will have the help of Aaron's sister, Jenna. She is a pro seamstress, so even though I have NO IDEA what I'm doing, Im sure it will turn out because she is so great at it!

2 weeks after I got home from visiting Aaron in Seattle, almost the entire house got repainted! Aaron's family came and painted the ceilings and trim one night, then that weekend, my family came up and painted all the walls! I love how everything turned out! I am so grateful for both of our families and all the help that they give us!

A couple weeks ago, one of my co-workers, Amanda, got these shots of our baby boy! He was not very cooperative because he would not move his arms away from his face, but she still managed to get some great ones! At this point, his estimated weight was 3 lb 11 oz. I can't believe how chubby his little cheeks are for only weighing 3-4 lbs! We got some more last week, which I'll have to post another time, but in one weeks time, he already looks so different! Crazy! Can't wait to see him in person!
